About the Event
Explore the ABC’s (the agriculture, butter, and chores, that is!) of history in the beautiful setting of Stonefield, where hands-on learning is as easy as it is fun. Students will try a Babcock tester in the State Agricultural Museum, make butter in The Creamery, learn daily farm chores in the 1901 Farm House, have a lesson in the one-room School House, and explore the 1901 Village.
Stonefield’s village includes 30 historic shops and factories that transport you back in time to the streets of Wisconsin over 100 years ago, including a newspaper office, cheese factory, bank, saloon, and more. With every step of your journey at Stonefield, you’ll be immersed in the spirit of ingenuity that helped propel Wisconsin forward.
