Overview See why the Mailboat has been featured in media all over the world!

There are only a handful of places left in the country where mail is still delivered by boat, and none with a more exciting and scenic tour than this! With over 100 years of mail service, we still deliver mail to about 75 homes around the lake on a daily basis from June 15 – September 15. The Walworth departs promptly at 10:00am every day with a load of passengers, mail, newspapers and a very unique mail person. The Mailboat returns to the Riviera Docks after its 2 ½-hour cruise around the entire lake.

 Highlights

  • See the agile and athletic Mailjumper deliver mail by jumping off the moving boat as it navigates between the piers on the shoreline
  • Get an in-depth narration of the Lake Geneva area and its ties to Chicago
  • See the original Wrigley Estate comprised of six different homes
  • Tour the full lake including the villages of Williams Bay and Fontana

Cruise Info

  • Boats depart from the Riviera Docks at 812 Wrigley Drive, Lake Geneva, WI. One block south of the main downtown intersections of Broad Street & Main Street (Hwy. 50).
  • Boarding begins 15 minutes before departure; please check in at the ticket office to receive your boarding tickets or have your confirmation email ready to show when boarding.
  • We recommend you arrive in Lake Geneva at least 30 minutes before your departure time to allow for finding either metered street parking or free parking lots.
  • We do not have an onsite parking lot at the Riviera Docks in downtown Lake Geneva. Lake Geneva uses metered parking with kiosks or an easy mobile app. Learn more about parking in Lake Geneva here.

Arrive: 9:30am

Event: 10:00 to 12:30

Snacks are allowed on the boat, but not full meals or coolers.

There is an upper deck and lower deck. The upper deck is uncovered and open to the weather. Please dress appropriately. The lower deck is covered and has full windows. The jumper comes and goes from the right side of the boat if you are in the boat, facing the front. Seating is first come, first serve. Usually, there are more seats than passengers, so there's plenty of room to move around.

Deadline to Register or Cancel: Monday, September 9th
