Families can create art projects, play in the game room or gym, watch a movie, win prizes playing bingo — with face-painting and balloon-twisting too. Just $5 per family makes it a great value.

Explore the seasonal change at the Dane County Farmers’ Market — this beloved Saturday market moves indoors in late fall and offers fresh produce, baked goods, fun smells, and sights for children. It’s a simple, sensory-rich outing that families often enjoy together.

Starting Friday, Nov 22, the Henry Vilas Zoo (702 S. Randall Ave) begins its Zoo Lights event (Fri/Sat/Sun & select nights) — an outdoor light-display experience for families, $10 per person (children under 3 free). A magical evening outing as daylight shortens.
