🐟🎣 WISE is going behind the scenes of Wisconsin's waterways!

We're heading to the Wild Rose State Fish Hatchery, where students can get an up-close look at how Wisconsin works to protect and restore fish populations. The hatchery has been producing fish for Wisconsin waters for more than a century and raises species including brown trout, steelhead, coho and chinook salmon, walleye, lake sturgeon, and muskellunge.

Students will see live fish, learn about hatching and rearing, and discover how science, environmental stewardship, and conservation come together to support Wisconsin's lakes and rivers. 🌊🐟 We will be participating in engaging programing surrounding water quality & the life cycle of a fish!
