oin us as we explore the Hearthstone Historic House Museum in Appleton—a nationally significant historic home and the first residence in the world to be illuminated by hydroelectric-powered incandescent lighting! 💡
Students will tour the stunning Queen Anne-style home, explore Victorian-era life, and discover how technology, architecture, entrepreneurship, and innovation shaped Wisconsin history. From original light fixtures and wiring to elaborate woodwork and period furnishings, Hearthstone gives students the chance to experience history instead of simply reading about it! ✨
