All participants will have a live tour during the day. Adults and children will learn about aviation, airplanes, and air exploration from a knowledgeable guide. Throughout the day, students will be divided into groups. The younger students will experiment with wind tunnels while the older students will participate in Operation ATC. Please select only one activity per child on the registration page. This day will include free time for self-guided exploration.

Wind Tunnels:

Explore the mysteries of flight by creating a device to hover in a wind tunnel. While asking questions and making observations about air, students will learn about forces and how they make flight possible. (geared toward 4 - 9 year olds)

Operation ATC:

The air traffic control tower has lost its radar! Can you repair the equipment and help the pilot safely land? Introduce students to careers in aviation through this interactive puzzle game. Students will unlock each step in the puzzle as they learn to use the phonetic alphabet or Morse code, read maps and instrument panels, and complete a broken circuit. (geared toward 8 - 18 year olds)

10:00a to 2:00p - Tours, experiments, and lunch

Lunch: An indoor room will be provided for us to use. Please pack a lunch.

WISE covers the cost of all WISE students and one parent/guardian. All others are considered "guests."

Guest Adult: $8/each

Guest Children, 4-18: $13/each

Please be aware: Children under 4 years old are free and welcome to attend; however, they will not be able to participate in the activities.

Cash or Check will be collected before the tour.

While we hope that everyone who registers is able to attend, we know that sometimes things happen. Please inform us at least 48 hours in advance if you are unable to attend.
