Spend the day learning about and interacting with different careers within the building industry. Students will be encouraged to participate in hands-on demonstrations, equipment operations, and learning labs all hosted by industry partners.

Each student will be provided with a T-shirt.

• Building Industry Interactive Showcase

• Break glass, smash concrete, and use power tools

• Learn how HVAC and mechanicals work

• Learn and do what plumbers do

• Install doors, windows, roofing, and siding

• Install the most popular flooring in today’s market

• Operate excavation equipment

• See how homes are designed and engineered

• Talk with Industry leading experts

While this is geared towards high school sophomores, anyone in high school is welcome to attend.

8:45 – Arrive and check in

9:00 – 2:00 Interact with hands-on demonstrations

Registration Deadline – Tuesday, September 19th, 2023

There will be a break for lunch, however lunch is not provided. While there are places nearby to get food, it is recommended that participants bring sack lunches.

Parents/Guardians

You are welcome to not only attend, but participate! You will not receive a t-shirt, but you can gain valuable knowledge along with WISE students. (You are also welcome to drop your child off and go do something else.)
